What happened to CMT?

I got this email from and will share it here:

We were just at CRT, we walked by the resort several times, and in fact walked a little way into the resort. NOTHING is going on there, the place is a disaster, the water off shore is full of junk that is making a mess of the beach. The "tennis" court is ripped to shreds and the beach front restaurant is becoming home to iguanas etc. Friends from CRT actually walked up to the pool area (we didin't have any shoes on so couldn't) and they said it was disgusting and full of junk. Nobody stopped them so I imagine that there was nobody on the premises.

This looked like it was a beautiful resort, how big was it and was it a an AI?
