Some Feedback On Costa Atlantica Costa Cruise Lines

My brother and his wife cruised Costa Atlantica 7 days Feb 28 - March 7, 2009 on Costa Atlantica out of Fort Lauderdale.  I spoke with them after the cruise to get their feed back.  They have cruised before but not on Costa. Costa is one of the Carnival Cruise Lines cruise lines but my brother said they do not measure up to CCL or RCL.  Said the food was average if that.  Any meat entree they ordered was tough as well as other guests at the table found all meats very tough and or grisly.  No lobster night.  A crab leg dinner night.  Room was an outside room and found it average.  Entertainment average.  No Karaoke. . .only a "free for all" talent show by guests on the last night doing what ever they wanted. . .dance, sing, tell a joke.  Said it was boring.

Asked if they would cruise Costa again since they live in Daytona Beach, FL and it is close.  "No"  Go with RCL or CCL.
